- UMMSM Students General Information Webpage
- Created by the Miller School of Medicine, this page holds links to information important to the medical students.
- UMMSM Department of Medical Education
- Get quick access to the online schedules and other information created by the Department of Medical Education.
- WebMail
- Http://webmail.med.miami.edu is the internet address for the web interface to your student Outlook email accounts.
- Blackboard
- Students use Blackboard, an online course system, during their first two years to access materials and complete required activites pertaining to the Evidence-Based Medicine Theme as part of their Doctoring 1-4 courses. A university assigned login and password is required to access this online information resource.

- GeriU - the Online Geriatrics University
- Students use GeriU throughout their four years of training. The site houses all of the online interactive self-study modules and review materials for Geriatrics, Pain Management, and Palliative Care instructional activities. Students submit their independent assignments on templates provided on GeriU. At various times throughout their training, they will also complete some of the competency assessments on GeriU. A personalized username and password is required before you may access the GeriU system.
- Google Calendar
- Google's Calendar is an organization tool which provides easy interent access to a personalized calendar which can be set up to send email or cellphone reminders.
- Google Documents
- Students can use Google Documents to create internet-based Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slide presentations. Students can use the collaboration abilities of this Google offereing for simultaneous editing of group projects. Google Documents offers a variety of output formats including PDF.
- Google Scholar
- Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Google Scholar helps you identify the most relevant research across the world of scholarly research.
