It is only accessible through the library. National Science Foundation An independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…" Grants.gov The place to find and apply for federal government grants. It is monitored by the department of Health and Human Services. Grants.Net A resource to find funds for research and training in the sciences.   Recently Announced Funding Activities:     National Science Foundation A listing of the recent funding opportunities at the National Science Foundation. National Institutes of Health New funding opportunities with the National Institutes of Health.     Research in Progress:     NIH RePORTER (Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tool) A searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions.   State of Florida:     Grant Sources for Health Contains application forms and instructions for many of the Department of Health and Human Services' Agency for Health Care Policy and Research grants.   University Resources:     Research at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Research Information at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. University of Miami Resources/Tools for Finding Funding Provides a wide variety of tools and resources to help the University of Miami research community find the right funding source for research, creative and other scholarly activities. InfoEd ERA Portal The ERA Portals connect investigators and administrators across departments, campuses and continents to facilitate seamless online research collaboration. Office of Research Information Management Supports the University of Miami community by providing systems to facilitate research administration. Human Subject Research Office (IRB) Provides administrative support for the University of Miami Institutional Review Boards. Institutional Review Boards are made up of faculty, staff and members of the community who are charged with the responsibility to make sure that research on humans complies with federal regulations. Clinical Research Initiation Services Office (CRIS) Provides the University of Miami's School of Medicine with an organized clinical research support program serving members of the University of Miami’s Clinical Research Program. University of Miami Pre-Award Research Administration (UMPARA) A comprehensive site listing all resources needed during the pre-award stages of research projects.       This list is not comprehensive.
